OBJECTIVE - To provide an enjoyable educational opportunity for school age children to learn about the fall harvest season.
RESERVATIONS ONLY - School tours are available during the Pumpkin Festival Monday to Friday from October 11th to October 31st. To make a reservation print the form from the link above, fill in and return by email Erin.firstname.lastname@example.org, if you need to talk with us about the tours give us a call or text at 705-657-8888 or 705-657-2134, leave a message and we will be in touch to arrange a tour for your class.
PROGRAM - You may lead your small groups through the Barnyard Animals, Play Centers, Mazes and Bonesville Cemetary
WAGON RIDE - Your class wagon ride to the pumpkin patch is the only activity scheduled by Buckhorn Berry Farm. Please be at the designated pick-up area 5 minutes in advance.
TAKE HOME - Students and supervisors will receive a small pie pumpkin each to take home. Teachers may wish to decorate their classroom with a complimentary large pumpkin and corn stalks. Additional pumpkins may be purchased separately.
TIME ON THE FARM - The wagon ride to and from the pumpkin patch takes about 30 minutes. Other activities take from 45 minutes to 1½ hours depending on your plans. A maximum of 3 hours is ample time for all of the activities. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately.
FOOD - School groups are welcome to bring snacks or lunches. Picnic tables are located in the greenhouses. If possible please arrange to have your students eat in their small groups as seating is limited.
ADMISSION - Students and parent supervisors: 4.43+HST= 5.00 each. Teachers FREE
The Haunted Barn, Junior Barn, Bouncy Castle, Entertainment and Chip Truck are not available for School Tours.
